Marlborough Residence

These images represent the schematic design of a residence in Fishtown, which is planned for a vacant lot at the end of a row of existing rowhouses. Directly to the south, an existing church of Wissahickon Schist and slate faces the south side of the new residence across a common lightwell/side yard. The design takes its inspiration from the materiality of the existing context and the opening of the mass to respond to the southern exposure.
